Manerba del Garda is a picturesque village on the west shore of Garda Lake which has very ancient origins as evidenced by the copious material found. Many historical events are linked to the Rock of Manerba del Garda which was a battleground between the Guelphs and Ghibellines. It is full of green hills , olive groves and vineyards, Manerba del Garda boasts Manerba Rock, an archaeological park covering an area of approximately 900,000 m, characterized by different paths, from which you can see, going on foot or by bicycle, many natural jewels as Mediterranean plants, rare orchids, forest wildlife, waterfowl, raptors and unusual butterflies, while the castle has an unique view of the lake of Garda and throughout the country.
